Who's there? Does anyone still visit our little corner of the blogosphere? I think even my mom has stopped checking in to see if there are any new pictures or updates. This time it's only partially my fault that the site hasn't been updated in ages. Half of the blame lies on Comcast as we have had numerous issues with our internet connectivity. Three technicians later, the last one spending well over two hours in and around our house, we once again have access to the internet.
The strange thing is that during the period where we had no internet, or very limited internet access, I had to find something else to do with my "free" time. You know the time where the kids are sleeping, but I absolutely do not want to wash dishes or fold laundry; the time I usually spend reading blogs or perusing various websites. I began to fill that time with the most interesting reading material called books. Sure you have to actually turn pages as opposed to clicking on a "read more" button, but the end result was so worth it. So much so, that after the final technician restored our internet, I preferred picking up my book rather than the computer. Lest you fear I have completely kicked my blog addiction, let me assure you I finished my latest book and am now back on the blog bandwagon.
While I thoroughly enjoyed catching up on everyone elses blogs, I've had a hard time even logging on to this one. I am so far behind that I don't even know where to begin, which makes it easier to just ignore that it exists. However, there is so much to share from our little man turning one to our whirlwind trip to SC. Andrej needs to introduce you to the newest member of our family and we need to write about some HUGE life changing things we are walking/praying through right now, and when I think of these things, I feel compelled to write. So, over the next few weeks I hope to roll out a new post and new pictures every few days until we are caught up on all the happenings from the past two months. Then, I will probably take another two month hiatus, but at least the date on the latest post will be from July and not the beginning of May.
Here are some recent pictures of our wee little ones having fun in the backyard:

Yes, I'm still reading!
I have you on my Bloglines feed, so I don't have to come to your blog to check for updates. Honestly, there's no need to apologize… your friends know you're busy. We still love you.

PS — your anti-spam words are a little too long for the square they're in — I had to guess on the last couple of letters. :)

I still check in. Although, hardly worthy of maintaining a blog for my benefit. I do appreciate it and can relate to many of the stories, with young ones about the same ages.

Hi Jessica, I do read your and Andrej“s posts on this blog. I enjoy going through the pictures you have added. I very like the family ones. I am glad that even it may be sometimes difficult to write all the information from your life, you still keep us up-to-date.

Thanks, you guys! I'm so glad to see you all are sticking with our little family even though updates aren't frequent. It seems that feed readers are the way to go with our blog so you don't have to check in only to find nothing new has been posted. Anyway, I'm encouraged to see we still have readers. Mirka, I was super excited to see your comment. I miss you so much!!! Pam, I wanted to comment that the too long anti-spam words are just a part of the tight security here and that we like to keep you on your toes, but it seems as though my webmaster (ha!) fixed the problem before I could comment. Thanks for the heads up. Teta Mina, we miss you too. It seems strange to be playing in the backyard this summer without you. I posted new pictures of the kiddos especially for you! Jessica

I've been reading!
I recently remembered that I have my own word press blog started on the endofnow server… and you all are on my blog roll! (hence my lack of checking… due to lack of memory of said blog roll.)
I hope to keep up now- especially since I didn't even know about Tobi until Andrej befriended me on facebook!
