This post is a continuation of an account of our recent trip to SC/GA. Part one is found here and part two is found here.

After two busy days, Monday was declared a lazy day and the only thing on the agenda was relaxing and playing with the kids. My grandparents joined us for breakfast and Kaiya and Tobi had fun interacting with their great grandparents.

We slowly got dressed and ventured outside for some fun.

While Tobi tried (unsuccessfully) for a morning nap, Kaiya went to visit the next door neighbors’ farm animals. They have horses, goats and pot-belly pigs. It was her very own personal petting zoo.

Giving up on the possibility of Tobi napping, I brought him back outside and Papa introduced them to his four-wheeler. Kaiya, our cautious child, immediately backed away claiming that she was scared because it was too loud. Tobi, who was in no way afraid, jumped right on and went for a ride with Papa. After seeing Tobi take a turn and survive, Kaiya warmed up to idea and decided to give four-wheeling a try after all.

Andrej, feeling a bit left out of the fun wanted a turn too. The only catch was that neither kid wanted off, so away they went with heads clanking together with each bump.

When the time did come to park the four-wheeler and come inside for lunch, this was Tobi’s reaction:

I can’t blame him because Papa and Babka’s backyard is a lot of fun and quite an adventure. However, neither kid complained when nap time rolled around and both fell asleep immediately. Once the kids were sleeping soundly, Andrej and I embarked on a little adventure of our own.

Since this picture heavy post is already too long, I’ll post the final “chapter” of our June travels soon. Just in case you missed them before, the rest of our SC trip pictures are found here.
