Since Kaiya passed the one-year mark we often find ourselves thinking about where we were and what we were doing during this or that time last year. We like to look at pictures of how tiny she was then and how big she is now. I’ve wanted to do a “then and now” post since her birthday, but never got around to it until now. I know Labor Day weekend was a few weeks ago, but it was such a special time and we have the perfect pictures for a “then and now” post.

Sorry guys for this long period of silence. We have been very busy lately and on top of that, the battery in our four-and-a-half year old digital camera is retiring. Within a couple of days we should be posting about our Labor Day weekend visit to South Carolina, Kaiya’s latest tricks and about what it is that I do at this new job. Inspite of the bad battery, we were able to get some good pictures that will be posted soon. We should be also be receiving a new battery for our camera this week!
