Other updates:
I was scheduled to take a 6-credit Humanities and Fine Arts test for tomorrow (Wednesday 2/1) but I rescheduled it to Saturday morning. Last night after taking the sample test at the end of the text book I realized that only about 60% of the test questions were covered in the text book. And that's exactly what my test score was on the sample test. So please pray for me. I better pass this test on the first time - it costs money and if you fail, you can't take it again for the next 3 or 6 months.

So, we're back in Michigan, I'm back at work and Kaiya's schedule is finally back to "normal." We really enjoyed the time we spent down south with the family. It was so nice to have everybody so close. Too bad my parents couldn't make it. They're planning to come and visit us in May so we're hoping it will work out.

After we got home, Jessica got sick and Kaiya got her first two teeth (the bottom ones). It was a hard week but we all recovered and Kaiya's getting used to the new sharp things in her mouth. They're not quite grown yet, but they've broken through the gum. As soon as we have some good pictures, we'll put them on the website

Other exciting news (at least to me) is that a family here in Grand Rapids has given us their old piano. Not only that but they also helped me load it on my truck, unload it at the house and carry it down to our basement. Even though it's a very small piano (37" tall), it was a lot heavier than I suspected. Once we move, the piano might just have to stay with the house. We've been saving for a good electric piano but may not be buying that anytime soon so we're thankful for this one.
