Hey,
We moved back home with all the bags, left-over food from our friends, flowers and balloons, and…of course a brand new person. I'll try to take some pictures and post them but first I need a nap. :) I used to say that I couldn't survive without at least 7 hours of sleep. I was wrong :) - I don't think we got that even during the last two nights combined. But don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining - we are enjoying our new roles and each other very much. I thought we'd be lost and not know what to do but our instincts (didn't know I had any), advice from friends and family, and God's help make this great.
Speaking of friends… yesterday we had 20+ people visit us in the hospital. After they all left and it was only the three of us we realized how blessed we are. We didn't realize how many friends we had until we saw them together. (At one point there were 9 people plus the 3 of us in the room for like an hour.) Groups of friends that have never met each other only heard about each other until now met and had a lot of fun. It was one big party. You should have seen the nurse's face when she walked in. And we couldn't even count all those friends who weren't sure if it was ok to come but called and emailed. Thank you all for your support and prayers. You are wonderful.

Try to sleep when Kaiya sleeps, it is all that will get you through the first couple of weeks of adjusting to life with a little person. Glad to hear everyone is being so supportive. Post more pic soon. Love to all

Thanks Terri. We both took a nap when Kaiya slept and it was great. In hospital there was too much going on for that, but it's very peaceful here at home. I just need to remember to turn my cell phone to silent :) But then on the other hand I would have missed my parents calling.

Andrej, I think I speak on behalf of the class- but we passed your darling daughter's photo around in class and we all prayed for you and your family. We wished we could haev been there, instead of discussing whistleblowing and mock debating but, we all are thinking of you and hope to see/hear from you soon!!
